PDEA-Caraga destroys P13.4-M illegal drugs

BUTUAN CITY: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Caraga Region (PDEA-13) led on Wednesday the destruction of PHP13.4 million worth of illegal drugs.

“The illegal drugs destroyed were composed of 1,997.37 grams of shabu and 102.10 grams of marijuana,” PDEA-13 information officer Dindo Abellanosa told the Philippine News Agency.

Abellanosa said the incinerated illegal drugs were part of the 557 disposed drug cases from the different Regional Trial Courts (RTCs) in Caraga.

“Some of the disposed illegal drugs were from the crime laboratory of the Police Regional Office in Caraga Region (PRO-13),” he said.

He said the Environmental Management Bureau approved the incineration of the illegal drugs.
