MARAWI CITY, May 19–In line with the conduct of Marawi Week of Peace, six persons with special needs (PWSN) in this city received assistive devices from the Community and Family Services International (CFSI).
Macatayao Yusoph of Area 5 in Sagonsongan Shelter Site received a nebulizer for her five-year-old granddaughter who has a respiratory-related condition. He thanked CFSI for the support provided to them.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa CFSI dahil nakakatulong ito sa mga ganitong pamilya na nangangailangan lalo na yung apo ko talagang kailangan niya ang binigay na nebulizer,” said Yusoph.
[We are thankful to CFSI because it helps those families in need, especially my granddaughter, she really needs the nebulizer provided.]
Doublon Macapundag, who suffered from a stroke received a pressure relief mattress from the organization.
“Napalaking bagay para sa akin. Maraming salamat sa kanila sa pagbigay ng tulong sa akin,” said Macapundag.

CFSI also delivered a nebulizer to a PWSN in Barangay Papandayan, pressure relief mattresses to barangays Papandayan Caniogan and Gadongan, and an adult wheelchair to Barangay East Calocan.
Under the Psychosocial Support Component of Marawi Recovery Project, CFSI targets to distribute 650 assistive devices to PWSNs in Marawi City, and in municipalities of Ditsaan-Ramain, Marantao, Piagapo, Butig, Lumbayanague, and Masiu.
