The Marawi City Mayor Atty. Majul U. Gandamra led the coordination meeting of the staff of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Central Office and Project Management Office (PMO) last May 18, 2021 at the Municipal Hall, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
The meeting aimed to discuss the issues of drainages on various roads in the city. Mayor Gandamra reminded the DPWH staff to resolve the problems with these drainages to prevent flooding in the city. DPWH-Central has promised that they will focus on it to prevent flooding, especially now that it is the rainy season again.
Mayor Gandamra said that the Marawi Local Government is ready to cooperate in if any assistance is needed by the DPWH and PMO, especially that the constituents of the city are the most affected in the event of floods. TRS
