According to a statement posted in its official Facebook accounts, TESDA said the activity is aimed to acknowledge their fellows with special needs and to give honor to the mothers especially those who are facing great challenges in taking care of a child or children with special needs.

It said, “As to reality, the PWDs are disabled in some aspects but that does not mean they are disqualified from having access to life. The training was held to value their worth and let them feel that they are accepted in the society.”

The Livelihood Training taught the mothers of the PWDs of how they could have skills in flower and balloon bouquet making to aid in their financial needs especially during these trying times while they are taking care of their loved ones. SNOR
