ILIGAN CITY
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced that there will be power interruption affecting Marawi City, Lanao del Sur and parts of Lanao del Norte, on Saturday, 24 April, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.
In an advisory message to The Ranao Star, NGCP spokeswoman Ms. Beth Ladaga says that affected areas are LASURECO (Dansalan, Ganassi and Malabang Substations) as well as Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi.
The reason, she gives, is reconfiguration of Current Transformer (CT) and some maintenance activities at Marawi Substation. “Specific areas are determined by the electric cooperative,” she added.
Ladaga says it will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled. SRNY
