TARAKA, Lanao del Sur: So far peace and order in this municipality has been smooth with no crime incident reported in this time of pandemic, officials said.

Mayor Nashiba G. Sumagayan said based on the municipal police report during the second Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) meeting held at the town gymnasium here on June 16, there has been no crime incident reported in the past few months.
Vice Mayor Amenodin U. Sumagayan presided over the meeting which was also attended by PCOL. Madzgani Mukaram, chief of Lanao del Sur Police Provincial Office, and representatives from the 5th Infantry Battalion led by 1LT. Rolly Vibar.
Taraka Police Chief PCAPT. Roy U. Rondina that there had been no incidents reported for the past few months due to the restrictions in the movement of the civilians and the implementation of strict security measures in the entire locality to prevent the spread of the virus.
The meeting also discussed updates on the municipal government Covid-19 responses and the municipality’s overall status as well as the measures employed by the LGU in implementing the “Balik Probinsya Program.”
As for the concerns related to the peace and order of the municipality of Taraka, it was confirmed by the Chief-of-police of the Taraka MPS, PCAPT. Roy U. Rondina that there had been no incidents reported for the past few months due to the restrictions in the movement of the civilians and the implementation of strict security measures in the entire locality to prevent the spread of the virus.
