DAVAO CITY: Aiming to adjust and remain operational in a ‘new normal’ setting due to COVID-19 pandemic, more available restaurants are open for delivery.
Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. President John Carlo Tria said in a statement lately that there are various restaurants that reopened for takeout with many already on delivery websites and apps.
“We have advocated for innovation which includes reviewing business models and doing deliveries and going digital. We can now see local restaurants on popular food booking platforms. I am happy to see many companies doing so while complying with ECQ requirements,” Tria said.
The chamber president noted that through these websites which were posted on the Davao City Chamber’s Facebook page, entrepreneurs can register their business, post their products, and connect to their customers effectively.
For Tria, the initiative is a good thing to push business sectors’ growth and development, especially local enterprises while ensuring health and safety practices.
