DCCCII President John Tria called it the “framework that will guide our activities for the remainder of 2020. We are taking suggestions from our members and will consolidate them,” he said.

The agenda includes proposed measures for companies currently allowed to operate, and companies which will be allowed to operate in case Enhanced Community Quarantine is lifted, such as ensuring available personal protective equipment and work from home options.

Meanwhile, DCCCII Executive Vice president and ICT advocate Belinda Torres expressed the hope that telecommunications companies can improve their services to allow more to choose a work from home option, given that social distancing may still be a need over the next months after ECQ is lifted.

“I believe many companies will still choose work from home arrangements to help manage costs and maintain social distancing, strong stable internet is required for this,” she said. (PR)
