OPERATION KAPANGISLAM (TULI) AT PROVINCIAL CAPITOLINFIRMARY

MARAWI CITY — Some hundreds of youth benefitted from the provincial government’s Operation Kapangislam or Tuli last month.

For free and with medicines, the project was conducted by the provincial health office in the New Capitol Complex here.

It was led by Dr. Emelda Gandamra-Taib, MD; Dr. Mangoda A. Dima, MD; Dr. Jamael Guro, MD; Dr. Rasmiah Gandarosa Lawi, MD; Dr. Alamina S. Ibrahim, MD.

According to Dr. Taib, the number of patients was limited to 80 to100 a day which started as early as 6 AM.

They wished to operate 400 patients, said Taib, pero hindi kaya wholeday

She said that in the morning of the first day, it reached 100 patients who had registered.

“Marami pa ang hindi naka list sa dami ng naka pila,” she added.

She said it is a first come first serve basis. “Walang personalan at palakasan,” she stressed.

Only those have registered will be given the priority numbers.

The patients came from different barangays and municipalities.

The medical team who assisted in the Operation Kapangislam were Jonaber, Moh’d Sabel, RN; Alianor Haron, RN; Jennibeth Pama, RN; Almani Dimnang, RN; Raida Pilingan, Nariman M. Mapandi, Norainie Maulana, Nurhanisa S. Carim, Aniraima Balas Dialem, Asnida Amama, Akisa G. Balas.
